Hong Kong, China Hong Kong, Hong Kong (On-Site) About the Programme Our Two-Year Development Programme is designed to nurture and grow talented graduates into future leaders in the railway signalling industry. This structured and immersive programme offers: Hands-on experience across different functions across the engineering disciplines Technical and leadership training Mentorship from seasoned professionals Exposure to large-scale infrastructure projects Graduates will rotate across key functions within Hitachi Rail Hong Kong, including project management, design, testing, and commissioning of advanced signalling systems such as CBTC. High-performing participants may be offered senior roles with accelerated career progression. Key Responsibilities Assist in the design, testing, and implementation of railway signalling systems under the guidance of Senior Engineers Participate in site installation, inspections, commissioning, and troubleshooting Support project management activities including documentation, compliance, and safety audits Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Procurement, Safety, Programming) to ensure project delivery Learn and apply industry standards such as CENELEC and IRSE practices Contribute to innovation and process improvement initiatives Requirements Bachelor 's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related disciplines Strong academic background with a passion for railway systems and automation Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills Adaptability to fast-paced environments and project demands Prior internship or project experience in railway, signalling, or transportation systems is an advantage Excellent command of Cantonese and English Willingness to work night shifts or weekends as these will be required Programme Highlights Structured rotations across engineering, projects, and operations Mentorship from experienced railway signalling professionals Technical & soft skills training (e.g., IRSE certification pathways) Exposure to major railway projects in Hong Kong and potentially overseas Attractive salary & benefits with assured career progression post-program A clear pathway to grow into future leadership roles within the organisation Thank you for your interest in Hitachi Rail.
