Hong Kong, China Hong Kong, Hong Kong (On-Site) Responsibilities Delivery of PLC software design, which includes: Writing associated software requirements, designs and test procedures Software coding according to the design specifications Testing the software to guarantee software integrity and stability Software package integrate process Communicate with clients, vendors and other team members to ensure all required functionality is provided Writing software package release documents in accordance with company quality procedure Support Test and Commissioning on site for night shift Fix Problem Change Request(PCR) raised Support System Engineer for interface meeting Delivery of PLC hardware design, which includes: Design PLC hardware configuration and control communication networks Test and verify the functionality of PLC hardware and the control communication network Ensure compatibility between PLC hardware and software Lead junior engineer(s) on the software development and testing Requirements Degree in Software Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Computer Science or related discipline. Experience in  programming automation and controls system involving PLCs  (programmable logic controllers) is an advantage. PLC logic and programming with any of the following PLCs:  Allen Bradley, Allen Bradly FactoryTalk, Modicon, GE Fanuc, Schneider PLC and InTouch  is an advantage Communication protocol knowledge for CIP, OPC-UA and MODBUS Have a clear understanding of ladder logic, structural text programming and functional block programming. Experience with logic auto-generation from templates is a plus. Knowledge of PLC hardware Knowledge of Station and Tunnel Environment System Ability to interpret electrical drawings Must be a quick learner and able to work under pressure on live operating control systems Good command of both written and spoken English Thank you for your interest in Hitachi Rail.
