Responsibilities: Technical Development · Design, develop, test, and deploy custom SAP ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEF objects). · Develop and maintain SmartForms, SAPScripts, Adobe Forms, and ALV reports. · Create and manage user exits, BADIs, BAPIs, and enhancement spots. System Integration · Build and support interfaces between SAP and external systems using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and Web Services. · Collaborate with functional consultants (SD, MM, FI, PP, etc.) to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Performance Optimization · Analyze and optimize ABAP code for performance and scalability. · Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to SAP development standards and best practices. Support & Maintenance · Provide technical support for SAP applications and resolve issues related to custom developments. · Participate in SAP upgrades, patching, and migration activities (e.g., ECC to S/4HANA). Documentation & Collaboration · Prepare technical specifications, unit test plans, and documentation for developed objects. · Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery. --- Required Skills & Qualifications: · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. · 4–8 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development. · Strong knowledge of: · Classical and Object-Oriented ABAP · Data Dictionary (DDIC) · Module Pool Programming · BDC, LSMW, and BAPI-based data migration · SmartForms, SAPScripts, Adobe Forms · ALV reporting (Classical, Interactive, and OO ALV) · Experience with debugging and performance tuning. · Familiarity with SAP modules like SD, MM, FI, PP, and their technical integration points. --- Preferred Qualifications: · Experience with S/4HANA and ABAP on HANA (CDS Views, AMDP, OData services). · Exposure to Fiori/UI5 development and SAP Gateway. · Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps tools (e.g., Git, Jira). · SAP ABAP certification is a plus.
