Job Details: Job Description:  The Intel Foundry Automation (IFA) group at Intel Ireland offers unique internship experience to candidates with a combination of cutting-edge research and software development. We are seeking an intern who is self-motivated and passionate about working on Computer Vision, AI image Analytics and Machine Learning at Scale. We are looking for long-term (minimum 6 months) candidates. Responsibilities: -Contributes to the creation of integrated software solutions tailored to customer and platform needs, combining system level understanding with application development. -May assist in solution architecture, feature prototyping, and performance analysis across diverse workloads and environments. -Collaborates with hardware, firmware, and customer engineering teams to deliver scalable and optimized solutions. -As an intern, learns and applies knowledge, builds skills, and explores future career opportunities through hands on experience and projects that support Intel business goals in a collaborative environment. -Solve technical problems with experimentation. -Communicate results with well-written technical documentation. -Collaborate with engineers across other divisions. Qualifications: Required Qualifications: Preferably M.Sc. or Ph.D. students in Computer Science / Electronics, Applied Mathematics, and Statistics or related area. -Fluency in Python. -Experiences on programming and testing on Linux / Windows environment. -Experience with version control (Git, CI). -Understanding of Computer Vision / Deep Learning techniques. -Problem solving and algorithm design skills. -Experience working with one or more frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch and OpenCV. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience with web development preferred. -Experience with databases (SQL). -Full stack web development. -Scientific Publications in one or more of Deep Learning, Computer Vision, -Electronics and Computer Science.            Job Type: Student / Intern Shift: Shift 1 (Ireland) Primary Location:  Ireland, Leixlip Additional Locations: Business group: Intel Foundry strives to make every facet of semiconductor manufacturing state-of-the-art while delighting our customers -- from delivering cutting-edge silicon process and packaging technology leadership for the AI era, enabling our customers to design leadership products, global manufacturing scale and supply chain, through the continuous yield improvements to advanced packaging all the way to final test and assembly.
