Kuala-Lumpur, Malaysia (On-Site) As  Hitachi Rail GTS , we are advancing rail   signalling   and safety solutions to ensure safe and efficient railway operations worldwide.   Our technologies help to bring billions of people reliably to their destinations by rail every year – making sustainable mobility a reality.        PMO Protege Trainee (Ref.   No.   R1011535)   at our location in Kuala-Lumpur       You will enjoy having these responsibilities:     Project Governance & Coordination:   Define and implement project standards, delivery plans, and governance frameworks.   Maintain comprehensive PMO documentation including project registers, reports, logs, and plans.   Facilitate workshops and meetings, including preparing agendas, documenting minutes, tracking actions, and ensuring follow-ups.   Monitor project interdependencies, escalate risks, and support audits, stage reviews, and lessons learned.   Prepare and   consolidate   internal and external reporting packs for stakeholders.   Track budgets, resource allocations, and expenditures.   Ensure compliance with project timelines, standards, and quality requirements.   Liaise with stakeholders to provide   timely   and   accurate   status updates.     Technical Awareness & Support:   Understand and interpret technical documentation .   Apply basic   technical   knowledge to support project discussions.   Collaborate effectively with technical teams         You have:   Good   project governance capabilities along with a solid foundation in technical understanding.    Bachelor’s degree in Electrical , Electronic, Telecommunications, Mechanical Engineering, or Project Management Familiarity with railway signalling systems and technical documentation.   Proficiency   in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and tools like SharePoint and AutoCAD.
