You will manage the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of Pfizer colleagues to include medical oversight and coordination of care for site based and remote site colleagues. You will provide nursing services to employees or persons who become ill or suffer an accident during working hours and manage the site dispensary as needed.  As a Senior Associate, your knowledge and skills will contribute towards the goals and objectives of the team.  Your focus and ability to meet team targets will help in completing important deliverables on time. Your innovative use of communication tools and techniques will make it easy to manage difficult issues and help in establishing consensus between teams.   It is your dedication and hard work that will help Pfizer make a healthy and safe work culture for employees.  How You Will Achieve It   Act as a liaison between medical specialists and Pfizer colleagues who need treatment and assistance.  Administer care in examining patients and dispense standard drugs and medicines.  Communicate with PX, Safety, Leave Care Team and site business groups to understand and advise on health issues impacting colleagues.  Utilize electronic medical record for all medical documentation.  Complete the required Health and Safety audits in accordance with given schedules and continuously improve the Health and Safety management systems.  Coordinate medical testing results and clearances and monitor for key medical findings.   Ensure health related concerns are appropriately addressed for site and share divisional best business practices.  Assist in developing health programs to address the disease/s identified and implement controls for prevention of occurrence of the occupational diseases and hazards at the site.   Maintain information necessary to ensure conformance and compliance with the requirements of Pfizer EHS Standards.  Assist in reviewing and developing government mandated programs for the workplace and other Occupational Health programs to ensure compliance.  Support incident investigations involving exposures, potential exposures, and preventative actions.  Conduct Health trainings for employees, including Stress Management and Wellness initiatives.  Qualifications   Must-Have   Master’s Degree in Nursing; Board Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner in the state of CT 3+ years of experience in acute episodic care, emergency care or internal medicine.  Proficient in the use of electronic medical record keeping systems Federal, state, or local public health regulations; Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) Worker’s Compensation; OSHA, may include recordkeeping; Americans with Disability Act (ADA), in United States; Family Medical Leave Act. Diagnosis and treatment of occupational injuries and non-work-related illness and injury. Demonstrates strength in clinical procedures utilizing evidence -based practice. Good communication and interpersonal skills working within teams and with business partners across multiple sites. Ability to work independently with strong critical thinking skills. Nice-to-Have   Occupational medicine experience COHN-S preferred Experience in preventive care, wellness care, and health counseling of adults Medical screening and surveillance Wellness programs Ergonomics Fitness for Duty assessments Emergency response triage Experience working in a matrix organization.  Physical/Mental Requirements May involve direct patient care to include emergency care such as CPR. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 12.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
