Job Description The Solution Architect primarily works with the product owner team by providing business process alignment and technical leadership to craft a solution that is fit for purpose from a business perspective. The Solution Architect focuses on both smaller and large facet of the solution to make sure that it is engineered and fits the operating mode. Focusses on the technical and business feasibility of a solution and ensure that it fits within well-established patterns and guidelines laid down by the enterprise architects and lead solution architects. Takes responsibility for the quality, commercial compliance and technical integrity of the solution being delivered back into the business. Works actively with senior technology / platform systems analysts from across the operational space (both internal subject matter experts and those of the chosen suppliers). Work with other domain architects in the programme including cloud infrastructure, technology and domain specific architects. Monitors adherence to architectural standards for the development, deployment and management of application, information, communication and technology infrastructure Responsibilities Data Architecture | ANALYTICS AND DATA SCIENCE | DATA SCIENCE Design, implement, and evolve robust and effectively aligned architecture solutions that operate in the business ecosystem. Data Management | INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY/DIGITAL | DATA MANAGEMENT Manage key aspects of the data management system. This includes being responsible for developing or operating key elements of the system. Database Specifications | INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY/DIGITAL | SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION Approve database specifications, ensuring all agreed standards and protocols are followed and data integrity is p reserved. Databases Installation | INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY/DIGITAL | SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION Install and test the most complex databases and associated products to ensure they are suitable for use and mee t customer requirements. Information Security | INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY/DIGITAL | DATA MANAGEMENT Lead in detecting and analyzing security incidents, including attacks, breaches, and identified vulnerabilities, and remediate any security gaps in line with the security incident management procedure. Analysis of "As Is" and "To Be" | INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY/DIGITAL | BUSINESS AND SYSTEMS ANALYSIS Document complex "as is" and "to be" processes and describe the changes required to migrate to the "to be" cap ability to record accurately the change required. Horizon Scanning | GENERAL | INNOVATION Explore and develop a detailed understanding of external developments or emerging issues and evaluate their potential impact on, or usefulness to, the organization. Performance Improvement through Business Intelligence | BUSINESS PERFORMANCE AND PROCESS TRANSFORMATION (A I/ML) | BUSINESS PERFORMANCE AND PROCESS TRANSFORMATION (AI/ML) Create complex algorithms that identify patterns in structured data through supervised and unsupervised data. M anage data preparation in collaboration with different stakeholders and internal clients in the business. Personal Capability Building | GENERAL | INNOVATION Act as subject matter expert in an area of technology, policy, regulation, or operational management for the team. Maintain external accreditations and in-depth understanding of current and emerging external regulation and ind ustry best practices through continuing professional development, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
