Job Description: Job Title- Senior Business and Data Analyst, AVP Location- Pune, India Role Description Business Functional Analysis is responsible for business solution design in complex project environments (e.g. transformational programs). Understand the functional and non-functional requirements Converting data specific business requirements to BRD or Data Mapping documents. Co-ordinating with product owner and business stakeholders for the project roadmap and preparing the backlog using Jira. Communicating with the consumers and stakeholders with project status, release notifications Supporting the data migration from on-prem systems to cloud systems and provide data mappings for the engineering teams for the transformation layer Maintaining data lineage and data dictionary from source to target systems. Supporting data analysis using SQL queries Contribute in the development activities related to data transformation. Understanding of data transformation tools and can contribute in ETL development tasks Your skills and experience 12+ years of overall experience in working with data and Asset Management/investment banking domain. Good understanding of core investment concepts like Transaction, Security, Portfolio, positions (IBOR,ABOR), FX etc. Good experience in working with RDBMS systems like MS SQL Server, Oracle. Good to have experience of working on cloud databases like BigQuery, SnowFlake or similar. Experience of working in agile framework and working with scrum development teams. Good understanding of tools such as Jira, Confluence. Experience of working in data transformation or ETL projects Good to have migration experience of migrating on prem databases to Cloud based databases. Strong verbal and written communication with an effective articulation of the problem to technical and non-technical stakeholders Good understanding of agile framework and experience of working with scrum development teams. Good to have data migration experience of on-prem to cloud.
