Job Summary An exciting opportunity is available in Durban for an experienced Investment Portfolio Administrator (FAIS) who holds an RE5 qualification. In this role you will provide operational, administrative, and client support to ensure investment portfolios are accurately set up, maintained, monitored, and reported on. The role focuses on the day‑to‑day administration of investment accounts, ensuring transactions are processed correctly, records are up to date, and regulatory and internal governance requirements are met. Job Description Manage relationships with existing clients to ensure optimal income streams and profitability uplift from existing portfolio.   Manage the re-investment book to ensure investment retention. Manage the margins on re-investments to improve margin position. Further identify opportunities to increase share of wallet from existing Term Book. Efficiently handles administrative matters such as completion and preparation of forms and documentation (Globals, Mandates, FAIS Form, ROA, etc.) Apply and adhere to policies, procedures and standards of Savings and Investments.   Accurately draw and prepare client information for the daily maturities. Compile list of maturities for the upcoming week to discuss pricing strategy with IM. Informing the relevant stakeholders (RE/TB) of the retention strategy post discussion with IM.   Ensure all investment clients comply with all statutory and group compliance requirements.   Ensure that all internal compliance training is up to date. Act as central point of coordination between Treasury, Pricing and the Product Team.   Attend all relevant Investment meetings to ensure alignment with process and compliance. Provide and maintain excellent service to investment clients across all Segments. Respond to queries/needs in prompt and appropriate manner so as to ensure no client complaints. Aligning to the SLA of the Processing and Fulfillment Teams.   No regrettable losses due to interest claims as a result of service failure. Experience and Education Required Investment Administration Banking (5 to 10 years) Public Sector Commercial Banking (Small, Medium and Large Business) Pricing RE5 FAIS Accreditation NQF 7 (Degree/Diploma) Education Bachelor`s Degrees and Advanced Diplomas: Business, Commerce and Management Studies (Required) Absa Bank Limited is an equal opportunity, affirmative action employer.
