This Senior Manager role offers a unique opportunity to lead end-to-end greenfield and major expansion projects for pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities, playing a pivotal role from   initial   planning through to regulatory readiness. You will be instrumental in shaping alliance partnerships with EPCM contractors and directly managing greenfield projects with pharma clients   establishing   new plants. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional eager to make a significant impact on   cutting-edge   pharma infrastructure while working within a collaborative, forward-thinking environment that values leadership and innovation.     Key skills and prior experience that align well with this position   Proven experience managing single or multisite, multi-phase capital projects in pharmaceutical manufacturing, including automated fill-finish lines, oral solid dose, packaging, drug product, large molecule, and cell and gene therapy plants, with successful GMP qualification delivery.   Strong   track record   in managing project schedules, change control processes, and ensuring projects   remain   within defined scope, budget, and timelines.   Expertise   coordinating multiple product vendors across ISA S-95 stack systems such as MES, LIMS, Document Management, Supply Chain Planning, DCS, PLC, and SCADA packages.   Demonstrated leadership in commissioning and qualification of multiple vendor packages, working across diverse internal stakeholders (Engineering, IT, Manufacturing, R&D, QA/QC) and external vendors/contractors (EPCM, package vendors).   Experience overseeing construction, installation, and site activities compliant with GMP standards, safety regulations, and regulatory authority requirements (USFDA, MHRA, TGA, ASEAN PIC/S).   Skilled in managing civil contractors, engineering consultants, equipment, and utility suppliers, including contract finalisation in collaboration with internal teams.     What type of work will I be doing?    Leading project management activities including planning, design oversight, construction, installation, commissioning, validation, and regulatory readiness.   Building and managing strategic partnerships with EPCM contractors and pharma clients to support greenfield project delivery and joint market initiatives.   Coordinating cross-functional teams and multiple vendors across technical and regulatory domains to ensure project alignment and compliance.   Overseeing contract negotiations and management of civil contractors, engineering consultants, and equipment suppliers.       Success in the Role:   Successfully lead and deliver greenfield and major expansion pharmaceutical manufacturing projects from concept through to regulatory readiness, ensuring compliance with GMP and safety standards.   Establish and nurture alliance partnerships with EPCM contractors to develop joint go-to-market propositions, enhancing Deloitte’s market presence in pharma capital projects.   Coordinate and manage multi-vendor commissioning and qualification activities, ensuring seamless integration across systems and stakeholders.   Maintain rigorous control over project scope, schedule, and budget, proactively managing risks and change controls to deliver projects on time and within budget.     Who is the Hiring Manager?   The Hiring Manager is a senior leader within Deloitte’s Lifesciences Consulting Practice with extensive experience in pharmaceutical capital projects and greenfield plant delivery   and digital manufacturing solutions .
