Position 1: AI Intern Engineer for Assembly Department (AE) Develops algorithms and applications, performs large scale experimentation, builds data driven apps to translate data into intelligence, and develops solutions for solving business problems using coding. Incorporates predictive modelling, statistics and other analysis techniques for collecting, exploring, interpreting and extracting insights from structured and unstructured data. Organizes, interprets and structures insights from data, detects data anomalies and makes corrections. Performs descriptive statistical analysis, develops visualizations, applications, dashboards, or presentations and communicates insights in a clear and effective way to help the organization with better decision-making. Supports troubleshooting service offerings using proprietary analytical platforms, commercial tools and custom scripts. Drives the design, development and optimization of artificial intelligence/machine learning, deep learning training and inference frameworks, contributes to the research and development of data science activities and supports product development efforts as required. Develops and programs methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyse diverse big data sources, establishing standard methodologies for data science including modelling, coding, analytics, and experimentation. Explores, compiles, and collects data from new or known sources, sometimes in partnership with technical staff/engineers to derive useful insights and/or make predictions. Works with development teams and business units to ensure models are scalable and can be implemented as part of the delivered solution across clients. Qualifications: Basic programming (Python, SQL or C++) and web apps development. Willingness to learn and train LLM, VLM model, image analysis or generative AI, agent AI. Analytical thinking, problem-solving, good communication and teamwork. Preferred final year student candidate, part time work at least 3 days onsite (24 hours per week). Position 2: System Software Engineering Undergraduate Intern Engage in problem-solving activities related to factory automation issues, including but not limited to, driving continuous improvements in system software and human efficiency Contribute to deployment, validation, system design, data flow optimization, and continuous improvement. And influence the development of system software across one or more layers of the software stack, including firmware, drivers, operating systems, and/or middleware, to enable Intel platforms and technologies. Participate in cross stack software optimization and contribute to reference platform development for specific domains and internal factory IT/automation segments within a semiconductor manufacturing environment As an intern, learn and apply knowledge, build skills, and explore future career opportunities through hands-on experience and projects that support Intel’s business goals in a collaborative environment. Qualifications: Undergraduate students pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Automation, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information and Communication Technology, or related fields. Preference is given to students in their final year who require an internship opportunity. Proficient in Microsoft platforms, with knowledge of computer management, GitHub, Python, AI/ML, and LLM technologies. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Ability to work on site four days per week. Ability to commit to a minimum six-month internship program. Qualifications: Third -year or Final-year student currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering, Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, Automation & Control, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Management, Metrology, Information Technology, Computer Science, and/or related majors. Additional qualifications include: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Demonstrated excellent problem-solving skills. Familiarity with statistical data analysis techniques. Familiar with data analysis using programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, etc. is an advantage. Be able to work onsite for 4 days per week. Be able to commit to at least a 6-month internship program. Experience in semiconductor industry and manufacturing environment would be an added advantage.
