Control Risks is seeking an experienced crisis management, business continuity and resilience professional who delights in being both an “individual contributor” and a key team player, leading, developing, managing and delivering high quality complex projects to clients across the region. The selected applicant will be required to work within the Crisis and Security Consulting team to develop and service clients throughout South Asia or other such locations as they may be directed by the Company, including Australia Pacific, Greater China, and beyond. You will build and maintain successful relationships with existing Control Risks clients and identify and pursue new clients and business opportunities to expand the resilience and crisis management practice in the region. You are forward looking, able to advise clients at middle and senior management level on resilience and crisis decision making, crisis response and developing effective resilience and crisis management frameworks and high functioning crisis management teams. You will have prior experience working in a client-facing management consulting position and are well networked within the industry. Responsibilities: Build strong and profitable client relationships across a portfolio of multinationals, NGO’s and Government clients. Working closely with existing resources in the market, generate commercial opportunities with new and existing clients. Lead on the scoping and delivery of resilience consulting tasks including crisis management planning and training, risk management, and business continuity. Utilise specialist resources from around the APAC region and the Group to profitably deliver high quality outcomes for clients. Conduct and assess training and exercises for management teams to test and validate an organisation’s crisis management and business continuity capability. Assist the development of strategic, tactical and operational level instruments including crisis and business continuity management documents to internationally recognised standards or practices customised for individual organisations. Actively contribute to thought leadership, marketing and business development activities in South Asia and throughout the region. Prepare and submit verbal and written reports to a high standard for the use of internal or external stakeholders. Maintain cooperative relationships with staff, contractors, joint venture partners, government representatives, particularly police and military, regulatory bodies and industry groups. Work as part of small teams including as part of client teams or with external contractors/consultants. Support internal service lines. Provide support in the development and editing of proposals. Assist in the development of capability statements and other collateral requested by clients. Provide research support as required for tasks. 15 years’ experience in a resilience and business continuity discipline. Prior experience developing and implementing crisis or risk management programs within a management consulting firm. Sound knowledge of, and experience in implementing, current international risk consulting standards and methodologies. Experience delivering Crisis Management Training, Policy/Plan and Program development for mid to senior leadership. Crisis and emergency management planning and response. Delivery of BIA, BCP and risk assessment projects. Design and delivery of presentations and/or training activities. Knowledge of management, group dynamics and leadership theory is advantageous. Working knowledge and experience in advising on, developing and applying methodology and related framework using the below standards: ISO (31000:2009) and specifically aligns with the ISO 22300 series, specifically in this case: ISO 22361:2022 - Security and resilience — Crisis management — Guidelines  ISO 22301:2019 – Security and Resilience - Business Continuity management systems ISO 22313:2012 - Societal security - Business continuity management systems ISO 22317:2015 - Societal security - Business continuity management systems Guidelines for business impact analysis (BIA) BSI 65000:2014: Guide to Organisational Resilience Ability to: Travel to client locations in India and within South Asia, sometimes at short notice. Work under pressure, respond to fast moving challenges and guide clients in solving complex problems with incomplete information in an environment of uncertainty Create and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders Work independently with limited direction, including offshore Work for extended periods, if necessary, to meet deadlines Use high-level analytical and conceptual thinking Use initiative and be proactive in managing issues Employ high-level oral and written communication skills Deliver engaging presentations and authoritative advice to middle/senior management teams and boards Qualifications and specialist skills: Essential Completed a university degree in a relevant field, including, but not limited to, risk, international security, counterterrorism or international relations. DRI certification (ABCP, CBCP, MBCP) or BCI Certification (AMBCI, CBCI) or equivalent is desirable  Preferred Project management methodologies and skills Formal course or certification on ISO 22301:2019 (Internal/Lead Auditor or Implementer) and ISO 31000:2018 is preferred Workplace training and assessing
