Multigate is looking for a detailed and well oriented and driven FI Sales Executive who will be in charge of increasing company revenue and expanding our client portfolio. The individual should be persuasive and have strong business acumen as well as demonstrate excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Mission for this Role To acquire, manage, and grow partnerships with fintech's, remittance companies, and financial institutions globally, leveraging Multigate’s cross-border rails for payments in and out of Africa. The FI Sales Executive must have strong global fintech ecosystem relationships, technical understanding of payments, remittances, and stablecoins, and deliver measurable impact. Key Outcomes Partnership Acquisition & Growth: Secure 5–7 additional remittance and fintech API clients in the first year. Revenue & Volume Targets: Onboard API clients to drive $30m+ monthly volumes. Strategic Relationship Development: Leverage Tier-1 network; generate 10+ qualified introductions per quarter. Market Intelligence & Product Alignment: Provide fintech and cross-border remittance insights monthly; validate at least 2 client-driven feature requests per quarter. Cross-Functional Execution: Complete onboarding within ≤45 days; ensure SLA compliance >95% Country Coverage: Secure remittance and fintech API clients across the our licensed countries such as Nigeria, Ghana, Uganda, Ethiopia, Mozambique and more. Competencies (Must-Have Skills & Behaviors) Sales & BD Mastery – skilled at identifying, negotiating, and closing remittance and fintech clients. Fintech Ecosystem Knowledge – deep understanding of remittances, payments, and stablecoin infrastructure. Technical Fluency – able to discuss APIs, webhooks, integrations, and architecture with tech/product counterparts. Global Network Strength – strong connections in fintech, payments, and remittance spaces globally. Strategic Negotiation – proven track record in structuring enterprise-grade deals. Execution Discipline – maintains strong CRM pipeline hygiene and delivers consistently. Cultural Alignment (Values Fit) Customer Obsession: prioritizes client value and trust. Critical Experience 7–10 years in fintech, payments, remittances, or banking partnerships. Proven success in building/selling payment partnerships across fintech/remittance companies. Strong relationships with global fintechs, PSPs, and remittance networks. Experience with cross-border corridors into/out of Africa and stablecoin-based flows. Exposure to API-driven fintech integrations Key Metrics to Track Number of new remittance and fintech clients signed per quarter. Monthly cross-border payment TPV per client ($). Annualized transaction volume growth from portfolio. Revenue contribution per client. Client satisfaction and retention rates. Onboarding SLA compliance %.
