MAKE AN IMPACT Job Title: Sr. Java Backend Developer Job Description:We are seeking an experienced Java Backend Developer to join our engineering team in Vadodara. The role involves building scalable, secure, and high-performing backend services for enterprise-grade payment applications. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain microservices and RESTful APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Framework. Work with Oracle/PostgreSQL databases and write efficient SQL/PLSQL queries. Implement Kafka-based integrations and contribute to cloud-native deployments (AWS/Azure/GCP). Collaborate with Product and Architecture teams to design and deliver backend solutions. Ensure code quality through unit testing (JUnit, Mockito) and code reviews. Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and delivery. Work with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/Bamboo) and version control (Git). Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing services for performance and scalability. Required Skills: 6–9 years of experience in Java backend development. Hands-on with Spring Boot, microservices, Kafka, SQL/PLSQL, and REST APIs. Experience with Agile methodology and modern development tools. Exposure to Payments or Financial Services domain preferred.
