Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Tax Senior to join our expanding practice. This role offers the flexibility to work fully remote from home , with preference for candidates located in Pacific or Mountain time zones . About the Role As a Tax Senior, you will work closely with partners on challenging engagements across a diverse range of clients. You will prepare and review complex tax returns, research and resolve tax issues, and play a key role in client service and planning. This position requires fluency in Japanese , along with strong technical tax expertise and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities Prepare federal and multi-state tax returns for corporations (C & S), partnerships, high-net-worth individuals, bankruptcies, and trusts/estates. Research, analyze, and resolve complex tax and accounting issues. Identify tax planning and consulting opportunities for clients. Develop and maintain strong client relationships, particularly with Japanese clients. Support partners in delivering high-quality, timely tax services. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Tax, or Business Administration. 2+ years of tax experience, preferably with a public accounting firm. CPA license (or actively pursuing CPA licensure). Fluency in Japanese (required). Strong technical knowledge in federal and multi-state taxation. Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills. Self-directed, entrepreneurial mindset with ability to manage deadlines. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. permanently (no sponsorship available).
