Role Type: Full-time Engagement: Independent Contractor Job Summary We’re seeking a detail-oriented Invoicing & Billing Specialist to support the accounts department of a logistics company servicing the US market. You’ll handle invoicing accuracy, billing verification, and timely customer collections, ensuring financial operations run smoothly and efficiently. This role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and prior experience in the US freight brokerage or logistics sector . Key Responsibilities Prepare and submit accurate invoices to customers within established deadlines. Maintain a 99–100% accuracy rate in invoice submissions. Track customer accounts and ensure no accounts remain past 50 days overdue. Reconcile billing discrepancies promptly and communicate with relevant stakeholders. Maintain billing documentation in organised records using Excel or Google Sheets. Collaborate with the accounts team to improve processes and ensure financial compliance. Minimum 2 years of experience in invoicing, billing, or accounts within the US logistics or freight brokerage industry . Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets . Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal). Highly organised, with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
