Role Type: Full-time Engagement: Independent Contractor Job Summary We’re looking for a Senior SEO Strategist to take full ownership of multiple client accounts. You’ll set strategic direction, lead client calls, and ensure execution across on-page, technical, and content SEO efforts. This is a role for someone who thrives in high-autonomy environments and loves driving real business impact. You'll collaborate closely with internal specialists and act as the go-to SEO expert for your clients—translating complex data into actionable insights. Key Responsibilities Own and manage multiple SEO client accounts end-to-end Lead client strategy, roadmap development, and performance reporting Conduct technical audits, competitive analysis, and keyword research Identify organic growth opportunities and mitigate SEO risks Coordinate with internal specialists (technical, content, outreach) to execute campaigns Host strategy calls and present insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders Stay current on SEO trends, algorithm updates, and platform changes 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience with clear wins (traffic, revenue, or pipeline) Proven experience managing multiple clients and leading strategy calls Deep knowledge of technical SEO (crawlability, site speed, indexation, structured data) Strong on-page and content SEO strategy skills; e-commerce SEO experience is a big plus Proficiency in GA4, GSC, Ahrefs/SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Looker Studio Experience with CMS platforms like Shopify and WordPress Excellent English communication skills—both written and verbal Self-starter with strong project management skills and ownership mindset
