Senior Capital Projects Estimator We’re working with a well-established consumer products manufacturer in Anderson, SC to hire a Senior Estimator supporting large-scale manufacturing and site capital projects. This role prepares detailed cost estimates for projects ranging from $100K to $500M , spanning manufacturing, infrastructure, and packaging operations. The company operates two onsite plants —manufacturing and printing/packaging—with the packaging facility currently undergoing a major expansion. With 1,000+ employees , a strong culture, and ongoing investment, this is a high-visibility role with long-term growth potential. Key Responsibilities Prepare comprehensive cost estimates for manufacturing and site capital projects Support large-scale expansions, renovations, and new equipment installations Develop budgets, conceptual estimates, and bid-level estimates Review drawings, specifications, and scopes of work Perform material and labor takeoffs using estimating and modeling software Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Project Management teams Support contractor selection, bid analysis, and cost control efforts Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required (Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred) Extensive estimating experience in manufacturing construction environments Strong background supporting or managing large capital projects Manufacturing experience in consumer products or high-speed manufacturing required Paper, printing, or packaging experience preferred , but not required Prior estimating experience with a Construction Manager or General Contractor highly preferred Solid understanding of construction principles, bid processes, and cost controls Proficiency with estimating, takeoff, and modeling software
