Position Overview: The Extrusion Tooling Design Engineer will play a key role in designing and optimizing plastic extrusion tooling for profile, co-extrusion, and tri-extrusion applications. This role offers the potential to advance into a department leadership position. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop extrusion tooling for profile, co-extrusion, and tri-extrusion applications Oversee tooling design, construction, modification, installation, and maintenance Support machinists and machine operators with setup and operation Adjust and fine-tune extrusion tooling to ensure optimal performance Collaborate with manufacturing teams to troubleshoot and enhance production processes Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience designing tooling for profile, co-extrusion, and tri-extrusion Minimum 3 years of experience with extrusion processing In-depth knowledge of extrusion processes and troubleshooting Strong, stable work history U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder Reside within 45 minutes of the facility
