Summary: We are a well-established, highly profitable regional CPA firm seeking a Tax Senior to join our growing team. This role focuses on R&D tax credit services within our Specialty Tax Services group. Key Responsibilities: Plan, execute, direct, and complete R&D tax credit projects while managing budgets and timelines. Deliver R&D Tax Credit services including tax form preparation and review, tax research, preparation of technical memorandums, and drafting client correspondence. Prepare and review R&D tax credit calculations and conduct technical interviews with clients. Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other tax authorities. Support tax planning, consulting, and compliance services across diverse industry groups. Develop and supervise staff, assist in client management, and contribute to practice development activities. Required Qualifications: 2–4 years of relevant experience in public accounting or R&D tax credit consultancy. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; Master’s degree preferred. CPA license or actively working toward CPA certification. Broad exposure to multistate credits and incentives, ideally Research and Development tax credits. Foundational knowledge of US GAAP, general accounting principles, tax compliance (including entity and individual returns), and tax research. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with both SEC and closely held clients across diverse industries. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and supervise junior staff.
