Develop and implement security procedures and protocols to protect supply chain assets, including warehouses, distribution centers, and transportation networks. Conduct regular patrols and inspections of supply chain facilities to monitor for security breaches, unauthorized access, and suspicious activities. Monitor security systems and technologies, including access control systems, surveillance cameras, and intrusion detection systems, to identify and respond to security threats in real-time. Respond to security incidents and emergencies within the supply chain, coordinating with internal teams, external partners, and law enforcement agencies as needed. Conduct investigations into security incidents, breaches, and thefts, gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and preparing incident reports. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Logistics, and Human Resources, to address security concerns and implement corrective actions. Provide security awareness training and guidance to supply chain personnel, educating them on security best practices, emergency procedures, and incident reporting protocols. Maintain accurate records of security incidents, activities, and personnel assignments, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. Assist with the development and implementation of emergency response and crisis management plans for supply chain facilities. Prepare and present regular reports and updates on supply chain security to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement. What we are looking for: High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.  years of experience in security management or a related field, with previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role. Strong knowledge of security principles, practices, and technologies, with a focus on supply chain security or logistics security. Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team of security professionals. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the ability to respond effectively to security incidents and emergencies. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines. Flexibility to work variable shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed to support operational needs.
