Support the Animation Department by coordinating day-to-day production activities for a featurette project. Partner closely with animation leads and supervisors to help manage schedules, track deliverables, and ensure the production stays on target. Act as a central communication hub between artists, supervisors, and cross-departmental teams to maintain clarity and momentum throughout the pipeline. Assist in building, maintaining, and updating animation schedules and shot assignments Track production progress and milestones using ShotGrid (or equivalent), ensuring data accuracy and timely updates Facilitate communication between animation, editorial, and other departments to support efficient workflows Organize and attend production meetings; capture notes, action items, and follow-ups Identify potential schedule or pipeline issues and proactively flag solutions with the team Coordinate resources, reviews, and deliveries specific to animation production needs Prepare production reports, status updates, and materials for supervisors and stakeholders 1–2 years of experience as a Production Coordinator, preferably within animation, VFX, or short-form/featurette content Proficiency with ShotGrid/Flow or similar production tracking tools Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills Ability to multitask and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced production environment Familiarity with the animation production pipeline (layout, animation, lighting, etc.) is a plus
