We also collaborate with partners on the development of TransCon-based products in other therapeutic areas and markets.     We are seeking  a passionate Associate Project Director to join our team. As a key member of the Ascendis Pharma team, you will play a crucial role in leading the effective execution of the Global Finance project portfolio, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and strategic objectives. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with cross-functional global teams working together to achieve extraordinary results.  You will be joining the Finance Projects and Process Support team consisting of four colleagues, and report directly to Søren Amstrup, Senior Director & Head of Finance Projects & Process Support who is based in Hellerup. You will be based in Hellerup.    Your key responsibilities will be:  Facilitate the execution of the global finance strategy in close collaboration with the Finance Leadership Team and cross-functional teams.  Develop and manage a standardized Finance Project Management structure, including templates and reporting tools.  Lead and coordinate major finance projects, including biweekly project reviews, progress tracking, and resource allocation.  Coordinate finance-related tasks for global commercialization and the implementation of generic processes in new legal entities.  To take part in onboarding, training, and supporting finance staff, including cross-departmental and global coordination.    Qualifications and Skills:  You hold a relevant academic degree – preferably a bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, or a related field. You have 5-10 years of experience in Project Management in the Finance area.   Furthermore,  you have :  Previously worked in a finance organization or a consultancy company working within finance.  Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to lead and coordinate multiple projects.  Experience with process optimization and implementation of best practices in finance operations.  Solid understanding of finance systems, preferably with experience within finance applications like D365, Power Bi or cognos.  Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data quality and process improvement.    Key competencies:  You are a strong team player, analytical, and have a can-do attitude.
