Role Overview: We are seeking a seasoned SEO professional with expertise in recruitment marketing to train and upskill our internal hiring team. The role exists to build capability around SEO-driven job posting optimization, helping the recruitment department significantly increase visibility, ranking, and applicant volume across job boards and search engines. This position is strategic, instructional, and execution-light—you will design frameworks, templates, and training material while enabling the team to implement SEO best practices independently. The ideal candidate thrives in a consultative environment, communicates complex concepts simply, and enjoys empowering teams through hands-on coaching and structured learning. Your Impact: In this role, you will elevate the effectiveness of our job postings by equipping the team with the tools and knowledge needed to optimize content for search engines and job platforms. You will directly influence candidate volume, quality, and conversion rates by improving job post visibility across Google for Jobs, job boards, and other search channels. Your training will help standardize SEO practices, streamline job posting workflows, and establish measurable performance-tracking methods. Ultimately, your contribution will result in improved hiring efficiency and stronger applicant pipelines. Key Responsibilities: Training & Enablement Conduct live or recorded training sessions on SEO best practices for job postings. Teach keyword research tailored to recruitment and role-specific visibility. Break down technical SEO concepts into simple steps for non-technical teams. Provide ongoing guidance during training engagement. Job Description Optimization Audit current job descriptions and identify SEO improvement areas. Recommend structural and content adjustments to improve ranking and visibility. Optimize job posts for Google for Jobs and job board algorithms. Ensure consistency and clarity across job posting formats. Framework & Template Development Create reusable job posting optimization templates. Develop an actionable SEO checklist for recruitment workflows. Build frameworks that enable the team to independently optimize future job posts. Performance Tracking & Insights Define metrics and KPIs for job posting visibility and conversion. Provide documentation on how to measure and track performance. Recommend tools and methods for ongoing monitoring. Must-Haves (Required) 3+ years of hands-on SEO experience. Proven success improving job visibility, ranking, and applicant volume. Strong understanding of job board algorithms, ATS optimization, and Google for Jobs. Experience training or coaching non-technical teams. Ability to produce clear frameworks, documentation, and templates. Familiarity with recruitment operations and hiring workflows. Excellent English communication skills. Nice-to-Haves (Preferred) Experience working with internal recruitment teams. Background in recruitment marketing or employer branding. Knowledge of content optimization for high-volume hiring environments. Exposure to fast-paced or startup environments.
