Role Overview The Operations Manager oversees and optimizes core business operations to ensure efficiency, scalability, and execution excellence. This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on leadership across processes, systems, data, and people. You will act as the operational backbone of the organization—building structure, improving workflows, and enabling teams to perform at a high level. Core Responsibilities Operations Strategy & Execution — 30% Lead day-to-day operational execution across teams and workflows Translate business objectives into clear operational plans Identify gaps, risks, and inefficiencies across operations Drive continuous improvement initiatives Process Optimization & Systems — 25% Design, document, and optimize operational processes and SOPs Implement automation to reduce manual work and errors Improve cross-functional workflows and handoffs Maintain operational documentation for scale Data, Reporting & Insights — 20% Track operational KPIs and performance metrics Build and maintain dashboards and reports Analyze trends to support data-driven decision-making Communicate insights clearly to leadership Team & Resource Management — 15% Oversee capacity planning, scheduling, and workload distribution Support onboarding, training, and performance management Ensure accountability and operational consistency Foster strong execution habits in remote environments Project & Initiative Management — 10% Lead cross-functional initiatives and operational projects Manage timelines, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations Escalate risks and blockers proactively Ensure on-time and high-quality delivery Must-Haves (Required) 1–3+ years of experience in operations, project management, or operational leadership roles Strong ability to build and improve operational processes Data-driven mindset with experience using metrics to guide decisions Experience managing multiple priorities simultaneously Excellent written and verbal English communication skills High ownership, accountability, and attention to detail Comfort working independently in a fully remote environment Nice-to-Haves (Preferred) Experience scaling operations in fast-paced or startup environments Exposure to automation, systems integration, or process design Background managing distributed or contractor teams Experience supporting leadership or executive initiatives Tools Proficiency Must-Haves (Required) Spreadsheets: Advanced Excel or Google Sheets Databases / Organization: Airtable, Notion, or similar tools Automation: Zapier, Make (Integromat), or equivalent Project Management: Asana, ClickUp, Jira, Monday.com, or similar Communication: Slack, Zoom, Gmail/Outlook Nice-to-Haves (Preferred) BI & Analytics: Tableau, Looker, Power BI, Metabase CRM: HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive Documentation: Confluence, Notion Time Tracking & Workforce Tools Advanced automation or API-based tools
