Position Overview AHOY is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior SQA Engineer to join our quality assurance team. As a Junior SQA Engineer, you will work under the guidance of senior QA professionals to support the testing efforts for our software applications. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in software testing and to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Assist in the development and execution of test plans and test cases for various software applications. Conduct manual testing of applications to identify defects and ensure functionality meets specifications. Document test results and track issues using bug tracking tools. Participate in team meetings and provide updates on testing progress and results. Collaborate with development teams to understand product requirements and provide feedback on quality issues. Learn and apply testing methodologies and improve skills through mentorship and training. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Some experience or internships in software testing or quality assurance are preferred. Basic understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and testing practices.
