Job description: The Sales Engineer Saudi Arabia collaborates closely with various teams, particularly the Sales team, Field Project Engineers, Pre-Sales Engineers, and Sales Networks, to position Genetec's solutions and products. They are the technical point of contact for customers and Sales teams. Roles and responsibilities: Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of Genetec's software and hardware products. Define the solutions best suited to the requirements of our customers and partners Develop and maintain excellent relationships with all stakeholders, customers and partners Present high-level demonstrations of our entire product range Provide technical support to sales teams in response to customer specifications Work closely with the technical support team to ensure a seamless transition between the pre-sales and post-sales teams, and the successful implementation of our solutions. Participate in specialized security trade shows, exhibitions and seminars. Write white papers and become a true expert on Genetec solutions Provide technical feedback from the field to upstream Product Management teams. Implement complex software solutions Travel 30-40% of the time Qualifications: Engineering degree in electronics, computer science, electrical engineering or equivalent At least 5 years' professional experience in roles requiring regular exchanges with customers or partners, if possible in a technological environment with links to the security field. Initial experience in a pre-sales role in an innovative IT or security company Excellent oral presentation skills Excellent analytical and incident resolution skills Knowledge of the security market Comfortable working in a multicultural and international environment Experience in the security field in the local region Experience as a security system installer or commissioner and as a system integrator. Key skills: Customer orientation, commercial and interpersonal skills Analytical and complex problem-solving skills Work organization within project deadlines Positive attitude Sense of innovation Follow-through on objectives Oral and writing skills Conviction and Influence Knowledge: Genetec product range Video and access control systems IP network systems and protocols Windows Operating Systems PC configuration MCSE and/or CCNA certification Oral presentation techniques Problem analysis and incident resolution Security market Professional level of Arabic and English. An additional language is an asset.
