As a Mendix Developer, you will be part of a cross‑functional squad that owns mission‑critical lead‑to‑cash and service processes on the Mendix platform, enabling automation, observability, and repeatability at scale in Quoting and Supplier engagement.   You will design, build, and optimize Mendix solutions that unify Expereo’s global commercial engine, from Supplier Onboarding to CPQ to order fulfillment and billing. This role is ideal for developers who enjoy translating complex business scenarios into robust, scalable Mendix implementations and who thrive in impact‑driven teams focused on measurable outcomes.  Key Responsibilities  Mendix solution design & delivery  Design, develop, and maintain scalable Mendix applications that support Expereo’s global lead to cash and service processes.​  Implement customizations and configuration to meet business requirements while respecting Mendix best practices and governor limits.​  Translate user and business requirements into technical designs, including data models, integrations, and security model, and ensure these designs are documented and reviewed with architects and stakeholders.​  Automation, integration & APIs  Build and maintain integrations between Mendix and Expereo’s backoffice systems, including Salesforce, using REST APIs, middleware, and platform events, following established Expereo patterns.​​  Design and optimize data flows and sync processes to ensure data quality, consistency, and observability across the commercial and operational landscape.​  Quality, security & DevOps  Write clean, testable and reusable Mendix Workflows with appropriate test coverage, supporting CI/CD pipelines for Mendix deployments (e.g., using Gitbased workflows and automated validation).​​  Apply security and compliance best practices on the Mendix platform, including rolebased access control, fieldlevel security, and secure integration patterns.​​  Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Mendix performance and reliability, collaborating with SRE/DevOps and backend teams to improve observability and incident response.​​  Collaboration & innovation  Work closely with Product Managers, architects, business stakeholders, and other engineers in STO squads to refine requirements, prioritize work, and deliver incremental value.​​  Contribute to Mendix development standards, patterns, and guardrails, helping other teams adopt reference implementations and shared components.​​  Support innovation initiatives such as AIassisted workflows, advanced quoting and connectivity products built on Mendix and related platforms.  Must have  Proven experience as a Mendix Developer (typically 3+ years) with strong understanding of core Mendix practices.  Experience integrating Mendix with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, or event driven architectures, ideally in an enterprise B2B environment.​  Familiarity with modern software engineering practices such as version control (Git), CI/CD for Mendix, automated testing, and code review processes.​​  Ability to work in cross-functional, outcome-driven teams, collaborating effectively with product, architecture, and backend engineering stakeholders.​​  Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex commercial and operational workflows into maintainable Mendix solutions.​  Nice to have  Experience with telecommunications or connectivity businesses, or with complex, multicomponent B2B products and quoting/billing scenarios.​  Exposure to low-code platforms and adjacent tools used at Expereo (e.g., Salesforce, ServiceNow) and how they interact with Mendix.​​  Experience in programming in Java, .NET or some other object-oriented back-end technology.  Very good skills in HTML5/JavaScript/CSS as well as some JavaScript-based front-end framework (preferably React).  Familiarity with AI assisted capabilities on Mendix (Einstein, agentic workflows) or constraint solving/data driven architectures.​​  Mindset  Builder mentality with strong ownership and accountability for outcomes, not just outputs.​  Code first, automation first approach, always looking to remove manual work and standardize patterns.​  Curiosity to work across the stack and learn from adjacent domains (back end, data, architecture) to increase team resilience.​  Collaborative, positive attitude aligned with an international, diverse environment.​​
