We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Jr. Accounting Specialist to join our Accounting team in Turkey . This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial operations, accounting processes, and reporting activities while contributing to the team’s efficiency and compliance with corporate standards. Key Responsibilities • Support the Accounting team in daily operations and month-end closing processes • Record, reconcile, and monitor invoices, payments, and expense reports • Ensure accuracy and proper classification of general ledger entries • Assist in the collection and accounts receivable aging process • Support the control and reconciliation of intercompany transactions • Ensure compliance with company policies and Turkish accounting regulations • Assist in the preparation of VAT, withholding tax, and other statutory declarations • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records for audit purposes • Organize and maintain digital and physical financial documentation • Assist in updating internal accounting procedures and manuals • Provide support for other administrative and finance-related tasks as needed Bachelor’s degree or new graduate in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related fields Excellent written and spoken English Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking Positive, proactive, and problem-solving attitude Ability to handle confidential financial information responsibly Strong organizational and time management skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and familiarity with ERP systems ( Oracle is a plus ) Eagerness to learn and develop a career in Accounting
