In this vital role, you will oversee the procurement and management of materials vital to our projects in the oil and energy sectors. Your expertise will ensure timely delivery, compliance with project specifications, and optimal material utilization. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with various teams to enhance supply chain efficiency and maintain quality standards. Responsibilities Develop comprehensive material procurement strategies that align with project goals. Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers to secure high-quality materials. Conduct rigorous market analysis to stay informed of industry trends and identify potential risks. Manage inventory effectively, ensuring adequate material availability while minimizing waste. Prepare and maintain thorough procurement documentation, including contracts and supplier agreements. Facilitate logistics and coordination of material shipment and delivery to project sites. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and project specifications throughout the procurement process. Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in material procurement and supply chain management. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to work with vendors and stakeholders. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess supplier performance and materials quality. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with teams and suppliers. Organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and ensure project timelines are met. Experience in the oil and energy sector is highly desirable.
