The Mechanical Technician will be instrumental in ensuring the operational efficiency of mechanical systems within various facilities, particularly in the oil and gas sector. Key Responsibilities Perform regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs on mechanical systems and equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical faults and implement corrective actions efficiently. Install and commission new mechanical systems and components as required. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections. Work closely with other technical teams to ensure seamless operations and safety compliance. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment. Technical diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Mechanical Technician, preferably in the oil and gas or industrial sectors. Strong knowledge of mechanical equipment, machinery, and maintenance practices. Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and schematics. Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good communication and teamwork skills. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in mechanical maintenance.
