In this pivotal role, you will focus on the design, analysis, and maintenance of static mechanical equipment such as pressure vessels, storage tanks, and piping systems. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring that these systems operate efficiently and safely while adhering to industry standards and regulations. Responsibilities Design and analyze static mechanical equipment in compliance with applicable codes and standards. Conduct inspections and assessments of existing static equipment to ensure operational integrity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate static equipment into larger mechanical systems. Provide technical guidance and support in the selection of materials and design options. Oversee the preparation and review of technical specifications and documentation. Evaluate project risks related to static mechanical design and recommend mitigation strategies. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices relevant to static mechanical engineering. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. At least 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering with a focus on static equipment. Core experience in Oil & Gas EPC Projects is a must. A PMP Certification is good to have. Proven expertise in the design and analysis of pressure vessels, tanks, and piping systems. Thorough knowledge of relevant industry codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API). Proficiency in design and analysis software, such as AutoCAD, PV Elite, or similar tools. Experience in project management and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Strong leadership qualities and the capability to mentor junior engineers. Excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement. A proactive approach to problem-solving and innovative design.
