A leading Talent Acquisition Company in Saudi Arabia is looking for a motivated and knowledgeable Material Advisor specializing in Oil & Gas to join our team in Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will oversee the procurement, management, and logistics of materials essential for our projects. Your expertise will ensure that all materials are delivered on time and within budget, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of our operations in the oil and gas sector. As a Material Advisor, you will be responsible for creating strong vendor relationships, optimizing inventory management, and implementing best practices for material procurement. Responsibilities Manage the end-to-end procurement process for materials across various oil & gas projects. Develop and implement strategies for inventory control, supplier management, and material delivery. Work closely with project managers to align material requirements with project timelines and budgets. Conduct market research and stay updated on the latest trends in the oil and gas industry to source the best materials. Monitor and analyze material costs, identifying areas for cost savings. Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards in the procurement of materials. Prepare and maintain documentation related to all materials procurement activities. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a relevant field. A minimum of 8+ experience in material management within the oil & gas sector. Proven experience in procurement processes including requisition, purchase order placement, and delivery. Strong understanding of inventory management and logistics in the oil & gas industry. Proficient in SAP and other ERP systems, as well as MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
