Eram Talent is looking for an innovative and driven Associate Engineer (Material Specialist) to join our esteemed team. In this role, you will work closely with senior engineers and project managers to support the procurement and management of materials essential for various projects in the oil and energy sectors. Your contributions will play a vital role in optimizing material usage and ensuring project timelines are met efficiently. Responsibilities Assist in the selection and management of materials required for various engineering projects. Work with the engineering team to develop material specifications that align with project requirements. Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and establish relationships for effective material procurement. Monitor inventory levels and assess material usage to minimize waste and optimize costs. Prepare and maintain documentation related to material acquisition, including purchase orders and inventory records. Participate in project meetings and provide insights regarding material availability and procurement challenges. Support the implementation of material management strategies to enhance project efficiency. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management or a related field. Understanding of material procurement processes and inventory management. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and suppliers. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with inventory management software is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Prior experience in the oil and energy industry is preferred but not mandatory.
