This position produces high quality assemblies in accordance with specific engineering drawings and manufacturing instructions. Responsible for safety, quality and delivery of products for our Aerospace and Defense markets. This role will report to the Production Supervisor of Linear & Transfer Systems in our Simsbury, CT location. Responsibilities: Perform manual assembly as defined in Manufacturing Instructions using hand tools, simple machinery, etc. Loading and unloading components into press Clean, measure, cut, sample, press and pack product Maintain quality and accuracy requirements Requirements: Must pass an aptitude test Excels in a dynamic, changeable work environment; Energetic and positive; Ability to work independently High School diploma Ability to read and understand written instructions in English Contribute towards continuous improvement initiatives Ability to work with energetic material, such as powder weighing and loading Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
