If this is the culture and work environment you are seeking, then EBAD is the place for you! ​ Job Description There is a position available for 2 nd Shift Production Assembler with Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense Company in Moorpark, CA.  This is a full-time position. Work Schedule: 9/80 Schedule Monday - Thursday: 3:00 PM - 12:30 AM Friday: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM (eight-hour shift every other Friday) General Summary: This position will report to the Shop Floor Supervisor and will be responsible for various work assignments throughout the production area. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Performs manual/mechanized assembly operations. Responsible for adhering to all safety and quality requirements. Process specifications using hand tools, machinery, air presses, jigs and other equipment and tooling. Must be able to follow work instructions. Performs other operations such as loading and unloading components into tooling and powders into cups to press. Able to work independently with minimal supervision. Job Specifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Must demonstrate ability to setup and monitor equipment through written and verbal instructions. Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints. General knowledge of GD&T, blueprint reading and inspection tools Ability to perform fine mechanical assembly including resistance welding, light machining and electrical testing Defense and Aerospace Industry experience including working knowledge of company product lines a plus Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of management. Physical Demands and Work Environment  Appropriate safety equipment as required by area.  Some of the test and manufacturing areas include exposure to noise and may require hearing protection. Safety training in the handling of pyrotechnic materials is required.
