This role is ideal for someone who believes in the power of healing, community connection, and long-term prevention. You’ll serve as a critical bridge between survivors of violence and the services that help them rebuild safety, stability, and hope. What You’ll Do Provide immediate and ongoing support to individuals who have experienced violent injury or victimization. Deliver crisis intervention, education, and emotional support in hospital, emergency department, and community settings. Conduct home visits and maintain consistent follow-up to ensure clients remain connected to needed services. Offer case management, resource referrals, and care coordination in collaboration with the Project UJIMA team and community partners. Help youth and families access development programs, family-strengthening activities, and community-based supports. Contribute to program improvement efforts and assist with tracking outcomes and participant progress. What You Bring Bachelor’s or Associate degree in a social science field OR at least two years of experience working with youth- or adult-serving programs, especially adolescents. Familiarity with community resources and services in Southeastern Wisconsin. Professional communication skills—both written and verbal—and the ability to connect with individuals from diverse socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. Experience working with families from varied ethnic and cultural communities strongly preferred. Working knowledge of crisis intervention strategies. Strong organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities. Analytical skills to assess crisis situations and recommend appropriate care plans. Ability to work independently with limited supervision. Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and required insurance coverage. Basic computer and word‑processing skills for documentation and reporting. Bilingual (Spanish/English) abilities preferred.
