Job Description Summary En tant que nouveau leader mondial indépendant dans le secteur de l’énergie électrique, la mission et l’objectif de GE Vernova d’électrifier et de décarboniser le monde n’ont jamais été aussi clairs et prioritaires. La division PT, Power Transmission de GE VERNOVA Grid Solutions fabrique des équipements pour le réseau électrique haute tension (disjoncteurs, transformateurs de puissance…). L’évaluation et la réduction des impacts environnementaux des appareils fabriqués par PT est un sujet clé pour atteindre les objectifs de décarbonation tant en interne qu’en externe. GE VERNOVA Grid Solutions Power Transmission (PT) division manufactures equipment for the high-voltage electrical network (circuit breakers, power transformers…). The assessment and reduction of environmental impacts of devices manufactured by PT is a key topic to achieve decarbonization targets both internally and externally. Job Description Rattaché(e) au Centre d’Excellence Matériaux et Eco-Conception, le/la stagiaire en Eco-conception et Analyse du cycle de Vie viendra épauler l’équipe éco-conception dans la réalisation d’évaluations environnementales comparatives de solutions innovantes et de propositions de pistes d’amélioration. Il/elle sera intégré dans un ou plusieurs projets de développement de nouveau produit ou de nouvelle technologie. La méthode de l’Analyse de Cycle de Vie (ACV) en suivant les normes et référentiels sectoriels applicables aux produits fabriqués par PT sera à privilégier et à appliquer, des indicateurs d’éco-conception pourront également être évalués. Il/Elle pourra également être amené à améliorer la base de données interne utilisée pour la réalisation des analyses de cycle de vie. Principales missions Pour chaque projet de nouveau produit ou nouvelle technologie auquel le/la stagiaire sera intégré • Effectuer un état des lieux des données déjà disponibles sur l’impact environnemental de la solution étudiée et celle de référence (ACV existante, bibliographie, …) • Réaliser l’évaluation environnementale comparative • Proposer des pistes de réduction des impacts environnementaux • Simuler les pistes • Améliorer les modélisations et données internes pour la réalisation des ACV • Restituer l’étude aux équipes et rédiger le rapport Capacités et compétences techniques · Connaissance de la méthodologie d’Analyse de Cycle de Vie · L’expérience des logiciels ACV (Simapro) et de la base de données EcoInvent est un plus · Bonne connaissance en conception de produits mécaniques et/ou électriques · Sens du contact et de la communication. · Maîtrise de Microsoft Excel et de PowerPoint. · Maîtrise du français et très bon niveau d’anglais. · Organisé, proactif, source de proposition et autonome. · Rigoureux, pragmatique. · Esprit de synthèse Formations Formation avancée BAC+5/6 spécialisée en éco-conception ou Ingénierie Génie Électrique/Mécanique/Énergie ou Matériaux soutenue par une spécialisation en éco-conception & ACV. Localisation : Villeurbanne, Rhône (69), FR. Durée : 6 mois - à partir de septembre 2025 Attached to the Centre of Excellence for Materials and Eco-Design, the intern in Eco-design and Life Cycle Analysis will support the ecodesign team to assess comparative environmental evaluations on innovative solutions and suggest proposals for improvement. He/she will be integrated into one or more new product or technology development projects. The Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) method following the standards and sectorial guidelines applicable to products manufactured by PT will be preferred and applied, eco-design indicators may also be evaluated. He/she may also need to improve the internal database used for life cycle analyses. Main Missions For each new product or technology project to which the intern will be integrated • Carry out an inventory of the data already available on the environmental impact of the solution studied and that of reference (existing LCA, bibliography, etc.) • Conduct the comparative environmental analysis • Propose ways to reduce environmental impacts • Simulate the design options • Improve internal modeling and data for LCA • Share the study with teams and write the report Abilities, Technical Skills · Knowledge on Life Cycle Assessment methodology · Experience in LCA software (Simapro) and EcoInvent database is an advantage · Good knowledge on chemistry, materials science and their characteristics · Sense of contact and communication · Proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint · Fluent in French and very good level in English are necessary · Organized, proactive, source of proposal and self-sufficient · Rigorous, pragmatic · Ability to synthesis Trainings Advanced BAC+5/6 training specialized in Eco design or Electrical / Energy/Mechanical or Material Engineering supported by a specialization in Eco design & LCA.
