Job Description Summary Wir berücksichtigen ausschliesslich Bewerbungen von Studierenden, die ein Bachelorstudium im Rahmen des PiBS (praxisintegriertes Bachelorstudium) an der ZHAW oder FHNW aufnehmen bzw. Absolvieren werden. Als Mitglied des Plant Dynamic Simulation Teams in der Gas Power Engineering Organisation würdest du mit Hilfe von professioneller Simulationssoftware und Pythonprogrammierung helfen, bessere Kraftwerke zu erfinden und die Welt zu elektrifizieren. Das Tool, APROS, funktioniert ähnlich wie Lego: Bauteile wie eine Pumpe oder ein Ventil werden zusammengebaut, bis ein fertiges Kraftwerk mit allen Fluidströmen simuliert werden kann. We are only considering applications from students who are currently enrolled in or will be completing a Bachelor's degree within the framework of the PiBS (practice-integrated Bachelor's program) at ZHAW or FHNW. As a member of the Plant Dynamic Simulation Team in the Gas Power Engineering Organization, you would use professional simulation software and Python programming to help invent better power plants and electrify the world. The tool, APROS, works similarly to Lego: components such as a pump or a valve are assembled until a complete power plant with all fluid flows can be simulated. Koordinierung mit den Komponenten. Planung komplexer Modellentwicklung. Anwenden von Regelungstechnik. Dein Profil Du möchtest ein praxisintegriertes Bachelorstudium (PiBS) in Teilzeit an der FHNW/ ZHAW studieren und unser Team auf einer 40%-Basis unterstützen Du bist schon seit der Kindheit technikbegeistert, entweder im Programmieren oder in deiner eigenen kleinen Elektro / Mechanikwerkstatt Du sprichst fliessend Deutsch und hast sehr gute Englischkenntnisse Du hast die Eidgenössische (Berufs-)Matura oder deutsches Abitur Es wäre von Vorteil wenn du schon Programmierkenntnisse in Python und/oder C++, SCL hast Du bist lernbereit und hast eine Vorliebe fürs Optimieren Du arbeitest gerne im Team, bist verantwortungsbewusst und hast Lust auf eine dynamische und globale Organisation You will be part of a team developing innovative power plants or power plant components. You will be part of a site with thousands of employees and unlimited opportunities to acquire knowledge and discover and apply your skills. You will use Apros, the most advanced commercial simulation software for processes, including: simulating and integrating novel CCPP components, further developing modern, interactive GUIs, and integrating gas turbines, boilers, and steam turbines into Apros. Other responsibilities include: programming startup and sales tools, coordinating with components, planning complex model development, and applying control engineering principles. Your Profile You would like to pursue a practice-integrated Bachelor's degree (PiBS) part-time at FHNW/ZHAW and support our team on a 40% basis. You have been enthusiastic about technology since childhood, either in programming or in your own small electrical/mechanical workshop. You speak fluent German and have very good English skills. You have a Swiss Federal (vocational) Matura or German Abitur. It would be advantageous if you already have programming experience in Python and/or C++, SCL. You are eager to learn and have a passion for optimization. You enjoy working in a team, are responsible, and are keen to work in a dynamic and global organization.
