Job Description Summary The Mechanical Engineer supports development projects to meet financial, performance, and time-to-market goals. This role is expected to design components and assemblies within development teams for new products. It will also involve the technical support for existing products. This role requires a technical background, critical thinking and methodical problem solving. Job Description Roles and Responsibilities Support the development of new high voltage dead-tank circuit breakers by designing components and assemblies with CREO 3D CAD software Create technical drawings of the designed components and assemblies Create Bills of Material within SAP Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams ensuring manufacturability, ease of assembly, cost effectiveness, and quality Provide technical support for other departments Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma Experience with 3D CAD software (i.e. CREO, SolidWorks, Inventor) Experience in MS Office software including MS Excel and MS PowerPoint Desired Characteristics Experience working cooperatively and effectively in an international team environment Oral and written communication skills Interpersonal skills Ability to execute several tasks simultaneously Effective problem identification and solution skills Additional Information The base pay range for this position is 71,600.00 - 89,500.00.  The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
