Ce poste est essentiel à la préparation et à l'exécution des procédures, des méthodes et de la conception des activités d'installation liées au démontage et au remontage des turbines et alternateurs hydrauliques. L'ingénieur sera responsable du développement des outils d'installation, de la coordination de l'usinage sur site, du bobinage, de la métrologie et de la manutention des composants, tout en contribuant à la stratégie du site, aux propositions, aux achats, à la qualité et au support technique. Principales responsabilités : Analyse technique : Analyser les spécifications techniques, le périmètre des travaux et la répartition des tâches afin de garantir l’harmonisation et la réussite du projet. Développement de méthodes  : Concevoir et mettre en œuvre des méthodes et des outils spécifiques pour le démontage et le montage sur site, en respectant la planification du site, les contraintes budgétaires et les normes EHS. Conception et coordination  : Planifier et accompagner la phase de conception des équipements et de l’outillage, en coordination avec les équipes d’approvisionnement, de site et de projet afin d’assurer une exécution fluide. Participation aux revues de conception  : Participer aux revues de conception afin de garantir la cohérence et l’harmonisation avec les méthodes d’installation sur site. Innovation et optimisation  : Innover et optimiser les méthodes et la conception de l’outillage afin d’améliorer l’efficacité et de réduire les délais d’installation sur site. Documentation technique  : Préparer et superviser l’exécution des dessins techniques et rédiger des documents d’ingénierie complets, comprenant des procédures, des notes d’ingénierie, des spécifications techniques et des directives de maintenance. Support technique  : Fournir un soutien technique aux équipes opérationnelles de la chaîne d’approvisionnement et aux équipes site, y compris une présence sur site si nécessaire. Validation des coûts  : collaborer avec les membres de l’équipe de construction et de mise en service pour valider les coûts et l’outillage pendant la phase d’appel d’offres. Gestion de projet  : superviser les livrables et les budgets des projets assignés, en dirigeant potentiellement une équipe technique de cinq personnes maximums. Qualifications requises : Licence en génie mécanique, civil ou structurel. Minimum de 5 ans d’expérience pertinente dans un poste similaire. Titulaire du titre d’ingénieur professionnel (PE). Caractéristiques souhaitées: Une vaste expérience dans le domaine de l’hydroélectricité est fortement recommandée. La connaissance des procédés de soudage et d’usinage est un atout. Maîtrise des méthodes de calcul liées à la résistance des matériaux, à la simulation par éléments finis, à la métallurgie et au soudage. Excellentes compétences en collaboration et en communication. Connaissance des normes de sécurité OSHA B30.20 pour les équipements de manutention et de levage. Autorisation de travailler au Canada ou aux États-Unis sans restriction. This role is pivotal in the preparation and execution of procedures, methods, and design for installation activities related to the disassembly and reassembly of hydro turbines and generators. The engineer will be responsible for developing installation tools, coordinating site machining, winding, metrology, and handling components while contributing to site strategy, proposals, procurement, quality, and site support. Key Responsibilities: Technical Analysis:  Analyze technical specifications, scope of work, and division of work to ensure project alignment and success. Method Development:  Design and implement methods and special tooling for site disassembly and assembly, adhering to site planning, budget constraints, and EHS standards. Design and Coordination:  Plan and support the equipment and tooling design phase, coordinating with procurement, site, and project teams to ensure seamless execution. Design Review Participation:  Engage in design reviews to ensure consistency and alignment with site installation methods. Innovation and Optimization:  Innovate and optimize methods and tooling design to enhance efficiency and reduce site installation time. Technical Documentation:  Prepare and oversee the execution of technical drawings and write comprehensive engineering documents, including procedures, engineering notes, technical specifications, and maintenance guidelines. Technical Support:  Provide technical support to supply chain operations and site teams, including on-site presence as required. Cost Validation:  Collaborate with Construction & Commissioning team members to validate costing and tooling during the tendering phase. Project Management:  Oversee deliverables and budgets for assigned projects, potentially leading a technical team of up to five individuals. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Structural Engineering. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role. Owner of a Professional Engineer (PE) Stamp. Desired Characteristics: Extensive experience in the hydroelectricity field is highly recommended. Knowledge of welding and machining processes is an asset. Proficiency in calculation methods related to material resistance, finite element simulation, metallurgy, and welding. Strong team collaboration and effective communication skills. Familiarity with OSHA B30.20 Safety Standards for Material Handling and Lifting Equipment. Authorization to work in Canada or the US without restrictions.
