Job Description Summary Au sein de l’équipe commerciale Hydro, l’Expert Productivité Coûts joue un rôle clé dans l’appréciation des niveaux de coûts et l’amélioration de la productivité tout au long de la chaîne de valeur. Dans ce rôle, l’expert collabore avec les responsables fonctionnels et les experts chiffrage pour identifier, analyser et combler les écarts de productivité, en veillant à ce que les stratégies d’optimisation des coûts soient mises en œuvre de manière cohérente durant les phases d’offres (« ITO ») et les phases d’exécution de projets (« OTR »). --- As part of the Hydro Commercial team, the Cost Productivity Expert is a critical role focused on driving cost measurement and productivity improvements across the value chain. This role partners with functional leaders and costing experts to identify, analyze, and close productivity gaps, ensuring that costs improvement strategies are executed consistently through both Inquiry-to-Order (ITO) and Order-to-Remittance (OTR) phases. Job Description Missions et responsabilités Analyser les écarts de productivité des produits principaux, en collaboration étroite avec les experts chiffrage pour identifier et quantifier les axes d’amélioration. Réaliser des références OTR avec le Responsable Excellence Chiffrage (ITO) et les Responsables Productivité OTR, identifier les sources d’inefficacité et recommander des actions correctives selon les meilleures pratiques du secteur. Collaborer avec les Responsables Productivité OTR et les Responsables Lean Fonctionnels pour assurer une progression constante vers les objectifs de productivité, appuyée par des indicateurs de performance. Favoriser la collaboration interfonctionnelle sur l’ensemble de la chaîne de valeur en impliquant les responsables ITO et OTR, pour une approche unifiée de l’amélioration de la productivité. Coordonner avec les Responsables Lean Fonctionnels les programmes d’amélioration des coûts OTR, en mettant l’accent sur les initiatives applicables dès la phase ITO. Challenger les équipes ITO (offres) pour réduire les écarts à combler et optimiser les propositions commerciales afin d’atteindre un niveau de coût compétitif conforme à la stratégie tarifaire (finances, coûts, périmètre, conception technique, partenariats et schémas industriels…). Suivre et rendre compte de l’évolution des coûts tout au long des phases ITO et OTR, incluant des indicateurs clés tels que la marge (%), les provisions pour risques (%), les écarts de coûts par rapport aux niveaux historiques et de référence (%). Maintenir une communication régulière avec les équipes commerciales, les équipes financières et fonctionnelles pour garantir l’alignement sur les objectifs et plans d’exécution liés à la productivité et l’amélioration des coûts. Contribuer à l’élaboration de plans d’action stratégiques à court et long terme pour soutenir la compétitivité des coûts et la productivité globale. Suivre les indicateurs de dérapages de coûts en phase OTR dont les causes racines se trouvent en ITO, et contrôler le déploiement des actions préventives et correctives au sein des fonctions ITO. Compétences souhaitées Bac+5 / équivalent à une Maîtrise en ingénierie, chaine d’approvisionnement ou/et gestion industrielle ou école de commerce Une double formation technique et commerciale est un atout. Solides capacités d’analyse et de résolution de problèmes. Excellentes compétences en communication orale et écrite, avec capacité à influencer et mobiliser les parties prenantes. Expérience en Lean, Six Sigma ou autres méthodologies d’amélioration continue. Capacité à planifier, exécuter et suivre des programmes de productivité jusqu’à leur aboutissement. Bonnes compétences interpersonnelles et leadership, avec un esprit collaboratif. Maîtrise avancée des outils de suivi de la productivité et des coûts (ERP, Excel, Power BI). Anglais professionnel requis, à l’oral comme à l’écrit pour soutenir les équipes à l’international Les candidats de Brossard / Québec doivent maîtriser le français et être légalement autorisés à travailler au Canada. --- English version Roles and Responsibilities Analyze productivity gaps by key product, collaborating closely with Costing Experts to identify and quantify areas for improvement Conduct OTR benchmarking with the Costing Excellence Leader and OTR Productivity Leaders, identifying sources of cost inefficiency and recommending improvement actions based on industry best practices and market standards. Partner with OTR Productivity Leaders and Functional Lean Leaders to ensure consistent progress against established cost productivity targets, supported by productivity indicators. Foster cross-functional collaboration across the value chain by engaging both ITO and OTR leaders, promoting a unified approach to productivity improvement. Coordinate with Functional Lean Leaders on OTR Costs Improvement Programs, with a particular emphasis on initiatives that can be applied at the ITO stage. Challenge ITO Tendering Teams to reduce gap to close and optimize deal offering to reach competitive costs level required by our pricing strategy (financials, costs, scope, engineering design, partnering and sourcing industrial schemes …). Track and report on cost evolution throughout the ITO and OTR stages, including key metrics such as Contribution Margin (%), risk provision (%), cost gap vs historical and baseline levels (%). Maintain regular communication with commercial operations, finance, and functional teams to ensure alignment on cost productivity objectives and execution plans. Provide input to short-term and long-term strategic action plans to support overall cost productivity and competitiveness. Monitor Cost Leakages in OTR with root causes in ITO and control deployment of preventive and corrective actions in ITO functions. Desired Characteristics: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders across functions. Experience in Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies. Ability to plan, execute, and track productivity programs to successful completion. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with a collaborative mindset. Advanced proficiency in productivity and cost tracking tools (e.g., ERP, Excel, Power BI). Having a dual technical/commercial background is a plus. Candidates from Brossard/Quebec must be fluent in French and legally authorized to work in Canada.
