Job Description Summary As a Sr Staff Software Engineer, you will partner with technical leaders and engineering teams to coach, guide, and drive the adoption of Agile practices that support learning and predictable delivery within new product deliveries. You will lead facilitation efforts to help teams understand their product portfolios, align on delivery priorities, and accelerate the execution of product capabilities. Through coaching, mentoring, and hands-on leadership, you will enable teams to continuously improve how they build, deliver, and operate software at scale. You will have a background in software development and define standards for team members to follow, driving continuous improvement, including AI adoption across the team. Job Description In this role, you will: Serve as Scrum Master for one or more Product Engineering teams Facilitate Agile ceremonies, manage team cadence, and help teams plan and deliver iteratively Partner with business stakeholders and engineering leads to define product goals and manage delivery through backlogs Coach teams on Agile principles, the Scrum Framework, and product-centric delivery models Facilitate portfolio and digital incubation workshops to align teams around value streams, platform capabilities, and delivery outcomes Identify and remove delivery impediments and continuously improve Agile execution across teams Champion transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement in team practices and outcomes Design, develop and implement backend/frontend software based on existing utility/tool frameworks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code. Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure optimal performance and user experience. Drive adoption across the organisation of CoPilot and other innovative emerging technologies. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Technology or Engineering. Hands on experience on Angular, Node.js and React frameworks. Strong understanding of Java programming language and its ecosystem Knowledge on JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 and related web technologies. Experience facilitating Agile/Scrum ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, retrospectives), coaching teams in framework adoption, removing impediments, and fostering self-organization Familiarity with version control systems such as Git Familiarity with build tools such as maven and Gradle 6+ years of hands-on SW development experience. In-depth knowhow in modern microservice architectures and component development, including tools/technologies like Java, Spring Boot, Docker containers, Kubernetes, API Gateway. Experience in database such as NoSQL databases (DynamoDB), Oracle SQL, Postgres, etc. Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON. Familiarity with modern cybersecurity constructs (e.g. Secure Development standards, Static Analysis, Encryption etc.) Education Qualification Bachelor's Degree in a technical, business, or related discipline Substantial experience in Agile software delivery environments, preferably with a focus on DevOps, Platform Engineering, or internal tooling Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) preferred Desired Characteristics Deep experience working in Agile product development environments with cross-functional engineering teams Strong understanding of Agile values, Lean thinking, and product lifecycle concepts Excellent stakeholder management and facilitation skills; able to balance competing priorities and perspectives Adept at identifying delivery risks and misalignments, and helping teams adapt plans effectively Skilled in conflict resolution, team coaching, and driving shared ownership within delivery teams Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written Committed to fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and outcomes-driven team culture Familiarity with tools such as Azure DevOps and Rally is a plus You’ll Thrive In This Role If You… Enjoy helping engineering teams improve how they deliver, collaborate, and continuously improve Are passionate about Agile principles, lean product development, and driving cultural change Love facilitating discussions, aligning diverse stakeholders, and unlocking team potential Are energized by coaching others and leading teams through change and uncertainty Value outcomes over process and enjoy iterating toward excellence with technical teams Believe in the power of empowered teams and transparent delivery practices.
