Job Description Summary What impact you’ll make Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for leading/ executing projects focused on industrializing new products, execution of transfers of work and development of processes from concept to non-conformance free. This role will support Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine, and Generator. Job Description What you’ll do Manage/ Lead global NPIs and ToW projects, products and technology to secure Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost Own component introduction/ implementation/ qualification… from design and manufacturability through stable production (industrialization) Serve as an NPI Project Manager in a highly cross-functional environment with engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, product management, etc Improve and standardize the way of working within the team through the application of Lean methodology Ensure the proper team is engaged in the Iterations from concept through final design with cross functional teams to ensure balance of producibility and cost Be responsible for on time and on budget delivery of NPIs and strategic projects for both new units and services Serve as a technical process owner for complex problems across a diverse supply chain partnering with stakeholders to solve business critical issues Manage and communicate design change risks and impacts prior to implementation What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications) Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline from an accredited college or university (or equivalent experience) Major engineering/manufacturing/sourcing experience What will make you stand out Welding Engineering Degree or experience with welding and the machining of fabricated Components. Strong Sourcing knowledge and prior experience with Supplier Development and/or transfer of work projects. Knowledge of Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine, and Generator Components. Demonstrated ability to lead a team to deliver programs / projects Ability to present ideas effectively and concisely, both written and verbal, to team members, senior management and customers Proven ability to work horizontally across GE and build / maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders Cross functional experience – able to motivate team effectively, facilitate collaboration, and influence a solutions-oriented culture Demonstrated ability to take vague problem, identify action plan, and partner with stakeholders to achieve goals Strong project management/ organizational skills and demonstrated ability to drive projects to completion under tight deadlines Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficient in Microsoft products What we offer: Employment under an employment contract in an international company with a strong position in the energy market Extensive personal and professional development opportunities in an innovative and future- oriented environment.
