JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The Eberly College of Science, Department of Physics at The Pennsylvania State University is seeking to fill two Postdoctoral Scholar positions in Experimental Condensed Matter Physics . The successful candidates will participate in the research program of Prof. Cui-Zu Chang’s group to investigate the quantum phenomena in molecular beam epitaxy (MBE)-grown films/heterostructures. The project involves molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) growth, angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARPES), scanning tunneling microscopy and spectroscopy (STM/S), nanoscale device fabrication, mechanical exfoliation, and dilution electrical transport measurements. The ideal candidates should have experience in at least one of these areas. Education and Experience Requirements include a Ph.D. in Physics or related fields.
