POSITION SPECIFICS The School of Science at Penn State Behrend is in search of Part-Time Lecturers and Lab Instructors in Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Mathematics, Mathematics Education, and Physics for Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 semesters. Courses/labs included but not limited to: Biology – BIOL 110, BIOL 162, BIOL 164, MICRB 107, MICRB 202, NUTR 251, SC 120N Chemistry – CHEM 111, CHEM 113 Environmental Science – GEOG 30N, EARTH 2, METEO 3, METEO 5 Mathematics – MATH 21, MATH 22, MATH 41 Physics – PHYS 250, PHYS 251 A Master's degree or equivalent teaching experience required. These positions are dependent upon class enrollments; enrollments of less than 9 students may necessitate canceling the class and position. CAMPUS SECURITY CRIME STATISTICS Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
