JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS Penn State University, located in State College, PA, is seeking a part-time instructor to teach Hospitality Management courses in person during the spring, summer, and/or fall semesters. Duties may include: Assisting with content development and instruction Preparation of learning materials and activities Presentation of specific subjects, assessments of student learning Leading learning course activities in accordance with assigned course description and prescribed learning objectives Adjunct instructors typically teach one to two courses Following appropriate protocols in the instance of student illness/injury or emergency during class trips Communication with hiring department and with Penn State propriety systems including Penn State email, LionPath, and Starfish systems. Requirements and Qualifications The minimum qualifications include a Master's degree in related field or Bachelor’s degree with appropriate years of work experience in the related field.
