Requirements and Qualifications Nursing Instructor candidates should have an active Pennsylvania Nursing license. Successful applicants should have a Masters Degree in Nursing, preferable, a BSN is required. Applicants should have experience in Acute Care Medical Surgical, Long-term care, or Community Health Nursing. Nurse educator experience is recommended but not required. All applications must be submitted electronically and include a letter of interest, Curriculum Vitae (CV) or Resume. Only completed applications will be considered. Candidates should be prepared to provide the names, titles, and contact information (telephone, email, and mailing address) of three (3) professional references, if requested. Applications will be reviewed until the vacancy is filled .   BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check.       CAMPUS SECURITY CRIME STATISTICS Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
