POSITION SPECIFICS The Department of Physics at The Pennsylvania State University invites applications for a postdoctoral scholar position in Condensed Matter Physics. The successful candidate will work with Prof. Zhiqiang Mao on a quantum materials research program focused on the discovery and synthesis of novel quantum materials, including magnetic topological materials and multiferroics. The project involves bulk single-crystal growth, characterization, and measurements of magnetic, dielectric, ferroelectric, and transport properties. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in physics or a related field, with experience in single-crystal growth and characterization preferred.
