Job Details: Role Summary Lead the System/Cloud Environment Management team to deliver automated release management, auto-configured environments, and Infrastructure-as-code& docs-as-code with one-click deployment outcomes. Drive strategy, governance, and cross-functional alignment to achieve automation-first objectives. Key Responsibilities Define and execute the automation roadmap and quarterly OKRs for release management and environment provisioning. Manage team capacity, priorities, and stakeholder alignment across development, QA, security, and operations. Ensure compliance, security, and audit readiness through policy-as-code and automated evidence generation. Oversee CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and deployment automation initiatives. Establish success metrics (lead time, MTTR, change failure rate) and drive continuous improvement. Foster a culture of innovation and automation; eliminate manual processes. Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with DevOps, Security, Platform, and Data teams. Manage vendor relationships, tooling budgets, and licensing requirements. Provide leadership coaching and career development for team members. Required Skills Strong leadership and team management experience (multi-disciplinary engineering teams). Expertise in CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and release orchestration. Deep understanding of Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, ARM/Bicep, Helm). Knowledge of compliance frameworks and security automation (SBOM, SAST/DAST). Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to define KPIs and drive operational excellence. Preferred Qualifications 10+ years in software engineering or DevOps roles, with at least 3 years in leadership. Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP). Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana) and documentation automation. MBA or PMP or equivalent experience in technology leadership (preferred). Tools & Technologies CI/CD: Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins IaC: Terraform, ARM/Bicep, Helm Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, App Insights Compliance: OPA, Conftest, Sigstore Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP Performance Metrics Deployment lead time reduced by ≥ 30% within first 6 months. Change failure rate < 5% across all releases. MTTR for deployment incidents < 30 minutes. 100% compliance evidence auto-generated for releases. Team engagement and retention scores ≥ 90%.
